Glims in Jolimont

Jolimont is a group of four hospitals in La Louvière, Nivelles, Tubize and Lobbes, each with their own laboratory environment. All departments, including microbiology and blood transfusion management, went live at once. Thanks to the good relationship between the MIPS and Jolimont team, we were able to make this project, in a rather complicated multi-site environment, a success story.

Hospital Clinic in Barcelona

We are delighted to announce that on November 14, Glims 7.6 was successfully implemented and taken into routine in the Microbiology Laboratory of Hospital Clinic Barcelona.

This installation is unique in Spain for the substantial integration with SAP (sending orders from SAP and returning results from GLIMS) through HL7 communication.

Thanks to close teamwork of MIPS-Ibérica (Anibal Rodriguez, Stijn Rabaey, Antonio Muñoz) and SATEC (Simon Dyer, Xavier Martinez), and the invaluable assistance of MIPS-Belgium colleagues, we have added another laboratory to the many that currently working happily with Glims.
