New GLIMS project in Maasstad laboratory

On October 8th, MIPS signed an agreement to implement GLIMS in the Maasstad laboratory of Rotterdam.

The Maasstad laboratory is the collective term for all laboratories of the Maasstad hospital, which also provide lab services for the Delta hospital in Poortugal and the Spijkenisse Medical Centre.

GLIMS will be implemented in different lab disciplines including clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, molecular biology and clinical pharmacy.

The preparations for this project are well underway and the actual implementation will start in January 2015 and will take about a year.
